How to Apply

Providing we have a space, it is possible to join CIS at any point during the school year, although our main intake is in September for the School.

Where possible we encourage families to come and visit us for a personal tour to discuss all aspects of school life and experience the atmosphere. Parents will be given the opportunity to meet the Headteacher and to see the nursery and school during a normal working day. Regular Open Events are held throughout the year. If you are unable to visit the Headteacher would be happy to hold a Skype or zoom call to enable you to discuss your child’s education with us.

Complete a registration form and pay a non-returnable £120 (£100 + £20 VAT) registration fee. Registration is an indication of interest and is not a guarantee of a place. Following registration we would request school reports and if possible invite your child to attend a taster day.

Depending on your child’s age, a formal offer of a place is made subject to a positive taster session. Children will be assessed informally within the classroom. As a non-selective school we do not ask children to sit entrance exams. For children with a nationality outside of the EU we do require evidence of a suitable visa to entry the school or details about if you wish the school to sponsor a Child Student Visa application.

Entry is confirmed when the acceptance documentation is returned. Further information may be found within our Terms and Conditions. Once your child in enrolled in the school, we will be in touch with further entry information to ensure a smooth transition into our school community.

For families requiring Child Student Visa Sponsorship to apply for a visa we will require advanced payment of the equivalent of two terms of tuition fees is required before Cambridge International School will issue a CAS number. If the student fails to secure a visa, this advanced payment will be refunded (less administration costs). If a visa is granted, 50% of the advanced payment will be used to pay for the first term of study and the balance will be kept as payment for the student’s final term of study.
